Crystal Palace fans have hailed Christian Benteke after his showing against Brighton & Hove Albion on Monday evening.
The Eagles earned a 1-1 draw against their bitter rivals, with Wilfried Zaha cancelling out Neal Maupay’s opener.
Benteke, of course, did not manage to score at Selhurst Park.

And, per WhoScored, he won 14 aerial duels against the Seagulls, had four shots on goal and also registered one key pass.
However, he also had a pass completion rate of just 29% and did not manage to complete a single dribble.
The Belgian’s performance seemed to go down well with supporters, nevertheless.
Unfortunately for the 29-year-old, he needs to start scoring goals.
Thus far this season, he has yet to hit the back of the net in the league, though this was only the second time that he has completed the 90 minutes.

Fans can praise him all they like but, at the end of the day, he simply isn’t scoring enough goals.
Meanwhile, Wilfried Zaha has admitted to one thing after his summer exit was blocked.
