It was later reported by local authorities that seven Serbian citizens and one from England were taken into custody. A criminal complaint was also filed for grievous bodily harm. It was confirmed that no Albanian citizens were involved, despite some social media claims of such.

Ahead of the game, footage was circulating that appeared to show a mass brawl outside a restaurant, which included chairs and furniture being thrown. Police had to step in to restore calm. Other footage uploaded onto X, however, showed different sets of England and Serbia fans mixing harmoniously.
