The start of December sees the start of a busy festive period for Premier League clubs and football fans alike, with the majority of teams playing at least seven games in the month.
This weekend also saw the highly advertised ‘Derby Day’ on Sunday with Sky Sports showing the West and North London derbies before heading to Merseyside.
For once, the big build-up didn’t disappoint as fans enjoyed six hours of football full of talking points, shocking moments and lots of goals.
We take you through all the big moments from Gameweek 14 that you might have missed.
Mounie’s Challenge
With his team comfortable at 1-0, Huddersfield’s Steve Mounie produced a moment of madness as he went into a challenge with Yves Bissouma with his studs up.
The striker was shown a straight red card and has failed in his official appeal and will now serve a three-match ban. Nasty challenge.
Pickford Error
Derby Day concluded with the Merseyside Derby as Liverpool hosted Everton and arguably produced the biggest talking point of the weekend in the 96th minute.
England’s Jordan Pickford managed to tip the ball onto his own bar twice instead of seeing it away for a corner, palming the ball towards substitute Divock Origi who tapped home the winner.
Klopp On The Pitch
After seeing his substitute claim all three points, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp celebrated by running onto the pitch to hug his goalkeeper Alisson.
Twitter erupted claiming he was disgraceful for running onto the playing field. The FA agreed and he has been charged for misconduct.
Scott McTominay’s New Wall
Scott McTominay came up with an ingenious way to stop Southamton’s Cedric from shooting his free-kick.
By crouching down, McTominay gave his United team mates in the wall the chance to jump without the worrying of the ball going underneath.
Sadly for them, Cedric spotted this, went over the wall and found the back of the net. Nice idea though from McTominay.
Aguero Left Out
Fantasy Premier League bosses were shocked to see Sergio Aguero hadn’t even made the Manchester City bench against Bournemouth.
Guardiola responded to questions on the Argentine’s fitness by saying:
“The doctors told me (on Friday) Sergio cannot play. If he plays, maybe it’s four or five weeks off. In that situation, this month, with a lot of games, he was not safe.”
